Crimson Moon Loadouts

7 synergy builds to copy, and whatever everyone else is running.

A Crimson Moon loadout — a build, the two words mean the same thing here — is nine gear slots: four armor, two trinkets, a one-handed weapon, a shield and a two-handed weapon, because you carry both weapon sets and swap between them. Add your Angel Form and the Boons you pick up at Nexus Gates and that is the whole build. Post yours here and it becomes a link anyone can open, with every weapon, trinket and Boon in it resolved to what that thing actually does.

Questions about Crimson Moon loadouts

What is a loadout in Crimson Moon?

Nine gear slots — four armor pieces, two trinkets, a one-handed weapon, a shield and a two-handed weapon — plus your Angel Form and the Boons you pick up at Nexus Gates. Loadout and build mean the same thing in Crimson Moon; there are no character classes, so your gear, Weapon Arts, Boons and Angel Form are your whole build identity.

What is the best loadout in Crimson Moon?

Nobody can say yet, and anyone ranking builds this soon after launch is guessing. There is no published combat data — no weapon damage figures, no stat scaling, no set-bonus thresholds — so a tier list would be invented rather than measured. What does hold up is synergy: a loadout built so every piece feeds one effect beats a loadout of individually stronger pieces that do not talk to each other. The featured loadouts on this page are each built that way, and each one names the effect it is built around.

Are Crimson Moon builds and loadouts the same thing?

Yes. Players use both words for the same nine-slot set of gear, Weapon Arts, Boons and Angel Form. This site says loadout because that is what the game's own screens call it, and any /builds link redirects here.

How do you share a Crimson Moon build?

Post it here. A build is stored as a single encoded string covering all nine gear slots, your Angel Form and your Boons, so sharing one is a link rather than a screenshot somebody has to read and copy by hand.

Do you need an account to post a loadout?

An account, yes. Reading one needs nothing — a shared loadout has to open for someone who is not signed in, or sharing it would be pointless.

What makes a good posted build?

One that says what it is for. The loadout renders automatically from the code, so the useful part of a post is the summary: what the build is trying to do, when it works, and what it struggles against.

Can you delete a build after posting it?

Yes. A build is yours to delete at any time, and deleting it removes it from the listing immediately.
