About Crimson Moon Forge
What this site is, who runs it, and how much of it to trust.
Crimson Moon Forge (CMF) is an unofficial, fan-made companion site for Crimson Moon. It is three things: a free Loadout Builder that plans a full nine-slot build and shares it as a link, a structured database of 281 catalogued entries, and guides that explain how a run actually works. It is not made by ProbablyMonsters and is not connected to them in any way.

What the site is for
Most of what exists for a game this new describes things. A page tells you a weapon exists, gives you its name and moves on. That is fine until you are standing at a Nexus Gate deciding what to take, at which point description is not what you need — you need to know what a thing does, what it works with, and whether it belongs in the build you are already running.
So every page here is built to end in a decision. A Boon lists the trinket that guarantees it. A weapon names the Weapon Art it carries, because that Art is bound to the weapon and is the one choice you cannot change later. A loadout resolves all nine of its slots to what those items actually do. The Crimson Moon loadouts are the same idea taken to the end: whole builds, each assembled so that every piece feeds one effect.
Where the data comes from, and how much to trust it
The catalogue was assembled from the community wiki and from the game’s own exported asset and text files. None of it has been verified in game by anyone here. That is worth stating plainly rather than burying, because it is the single most useful thing to know about a site like this one.
In practice it matters most for numbers. Defence totals and Boon values are listed as the game’s files give them, which are base values: the game scales an item by rarity and upgrade level, and that scaling has not been worked out yet, so a Legendary version of a piece will read higher than the number here. Where something is genuinely not known, the site says it is not known rather than estimating it — we have not benchmarked these builds in combat, so they are not presented as a tested tier list.
If you find something wrong, please tell us at contact@tsmwdevelopment.com. A correction from somebody who has actually played the thing is worth more than anything that can be derived from a data file.

Common questions
What is CMF?
CMF is short for Crimson Moon Forge, an unofficial fan-made companion site for Crimson Moon. It is a loadout builder, a structured game database and a set of guides. It is not made by ProbablyMonsters and has no connection to them.
Is Crimson Moon Forge official?
No. Crimson Moon Forge is fan-made and unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ProbablyMonsters, and Crimson Moon and its related trademarks belong to their respective owners. Anything on this site that contradicts the game is the site being wrong, not the game.

It has not been verified in game by anyone here, which matters most for numbers: base values are listed as the files give them, and the game scales items by rarity and upgrade level in ways that have not been worked out yet. Who runs Crimson Moon Forge?
TSMW DEVELOPMENT LTD, a England and Wales company (number 17204316). A UK software development studio building websites, apps and bespoke software. You can reach a person at contact@tsmwdevelopment.com.
How is the site paid for?
Advertising. The site carries ads and, where relevant, affiliate links, both of which are labelled where they appear. Nothing on the site is behind a payment, and no ranking, recommendation or featured loadout is paid for — there is nobody to pay for one.
Something here is wrong. Can you fix it?
Please say so — corrections are genuinely welcome, and a page that is wrong helps nobody. Email contact@tsmwdevelopment.com with the page and what it should say.
