What this page does not tell you yet
Said plainly, because a database that hides its gaps is not one you can trust with the parts it does have.
Only 15 of the 33 sets below have in-game equipment. Defence values and set bonuses are now extracted from the retail build and are shown in the Loadout Builder — but the game ships armour pieces for fifteen of these sets, and the other eighteen exist as names and lore with nothing to wear. Which is which is stated per entry rather than averaged away.
Set bonuses are real and are their own table, and they are thinner than expected: of the 34 stat-bearing set variants, eleven have no bonus at all. A matched set is still worth building towards — but not universally, and this page no longer implies otherwise.
What is still unknown is rarity scaling. No table in the game carries a rarity column, so the figures are base values and a Legendary version of a piece reads higher by an amount nobody here can state.

| Armor set | Physical | Source | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mahkten | 34 | Mahkteah, The Lord of Perdition | A cuirass forged specifically to withstand the punishing blows of the Lord of Perdition. Alas, no armor exists that can hold up to the power of Mahkteah's colossal club mace, but wearing this, you'll look good trying. |
| Ramno in-game pieces | — | General Valahk-Nor | A symbol of strength, speed, and yes, single-minded stubbornness in the pursuit of a goal, this beautiful ram cuirass will carry you into battle. Best not to think about it too much. |
| Telvaught | 42 | Felwyl, The Withered | Ancient beyond counting, this armor's steel is as ageless as it's original wearer, a vampire who was never defeated, but who shed the armor like a molted skin to achieve new form. Or so the legend says. |

| Epoch | 38 | Epic | Adorned with the antlers of the long-extinct great eolk, this armor set is said to contain the pagan spirit of the wild north woods. | Watchman's Oathno in-game pieces | — | Twitch | It’s said that for a thousand years a knight wearing this armor stood vigil at the tower walls of Belwayne. Others say that it was not a single long-lived knight, but different knights who wore the same armor, long passed down. Now the tower is fallen, and the armor seeks a new wearer who will swear an oath to duty. Whether his life be short or long will depend on him. |

| Champion's | 62 | A cuirass designed for the Champions of Litinstang. The city state of Litinstang in southern Armaea is famous for housing gladitorial arenas. Rumor has it some apostates who fled Velchoria found a living entertaining the masses across the sea. |
| Covenant Cleric | 43 | A beautiful cuirass forged in honor of the Cleric's Covenant. This was the covenant that finally ended the long-running conflict between two schools of interpretation over the translation of a word meaning either bread or god in the Zehamaic launguage, over which much clerical ink and blood was spilt. |
| Crimson Dragon Assassin | 50 | A cumbersome cuirass, fit only for the toughest Nephilim, designed to stand against a dragon. Dragon Assassins were among the first uses of Nephilim soldiers by the Church. Since the later years after the Dark Crusade, dragons have been scarcely seen in the Velchorian Isles. |
| Crimson Dragon Commanderno in-game pieces | — | A cumbersome cuirass, fit only for the toughest Nephilim, designed to stand against a dragon. The Lunitarian Church teaches that Dragons are considered the most sinister creatures in all of Eden, tracing their lineage to the vile Demiurge of the Old World. |
| Crimson Oath | 50 | Specially crafted cuirass designed for Nephilim in service to the Knights of the Crimson Moon. The Order of the Crimson Moon emerged during the turbulent years following Cain's Dark Crusade. These feared and respected knights uphold the imperial rule as a last line of defense, though historically this hasn't always been the case. |
| Divine Oathno in-game pieces | — | A variant of Crimson Oath armor, bestowed upon Nephilim who take The Oath of the Divine. Paladins belonging to the Oath of the Divine, colloquially known as Gold Hoods, watch over the capital city of Illuminar and its demigod authority, the Holy Lineage. Few suits, such as this, were crafted for Nephilim usage. |
| Lunar Sentinel | 42 | Cuirass of the Lunar Sentinel No symbol is more harrowing to the Lunitarian faith than that of the Lunar Sentinel, the once faithful knights in service to Lunarin before the establishment of the Church. Legend tells that Lunarin's loyal knights disagreed with the Church's teachings and refused to join the new budding faith. |
| Midnight Oathno in-game pieces | — | A variant of Crimson Oath armor, bestowed upon Nephilim who take The Oath of Midnight. Paladins of the Oath of Midnight, sometimes called Black Hoods, wander the lands in search of demonic corruption. Few mortals know of their existence, a testament to their guile and efficiency. |

| Rotkinno in-game pieces | — | A stout cuirass made from the melted and reforged steel of false idols. A great many pagan gods were worshipped before the unifying force of the church. Many say these old gods were demons. It’s a fine line between fighting a demon and fighting like one. |

Common questions about armor
How many armor sets are there in Crimson Moon?
There are 34 armor sets documented at the 1.0 launch window. A set covers four slots — helmet, chest, gauntlets and legs — so a full set is four pieces rather than one item.
Do armor sets have set bonuses?
Yes. The developers have said that some equipment belongs to larger armor sets which reward players for collecting matching gear, so wearing a matched set does something. What is not yet known is the detail: which bonus, at how many pieces, and how large. This page catalogues the sets and their acquisition; the thresholds are still to come.
Which armor sets are exclusive?
8 sets come from a platform or community promotion (Steam, PS5, Xbox, Discord or Twitch) and 2 from an edition or rarity tier. A further 3 drop from a named boss, and the remaining 21 have no specific source documented.
Does armor affect your build in Crimson Moon?
Yes. Armor pieces are one of the equipment categories that make up a build, alongside one- and two-handed weapons, shields and trinkets — and because the game has no classes, equipment is where build identity comes from.
