Crimson Moon Weapons
Every weapon and shield, grouped by type, with the Weapon Art each one carries.

Crimson Moon has 43 documented weapons and 18 shields, across 9 weapon types. There are no character classes, so no weapon is restricted — the thing that actually separates two weapons of the same type is its Weapon Art, the special attack bound to it and used on a cooldown.

How weapons work in a build
Three mechanics matter more than any individual stat line.
You carry more than one. Weapons can be swapped during combat, so a loadout is a combination of Arts rather than a single choice.
The Weapon Art is the differentiator. Most weapons have one, and it is a special attack on a cooldown. Two 1H Swords with different Arts play very differently.
Nothing is locked behind a class. Build identity in Crimson Moon comes from gear, Weapon Arts, Boons and your Angel Form — see why there are no classes.

Common questions about weapons
How many weapons are in Crimson Moon?
There are 43 weapons and 18 shields documented for Crimson Moon at the 1.0 launch window, across 9 weapon types. 51 of them carry a Weapon Art.
What is a Weapon Art?
A Weapon Art is a special attack bound to a specific weapon and used on a cooldown. It is the main thing that distinguishes two weapons of the same type, and you can swap weapons mid-combat to use more than one.
Are there weapon classes in Crimson Moon?
No. Crimson Moon has no character classes, so no weapon is locked to a class. Any Nephilim can use any weapon they have unlocked, and your build comes from the equipment and abilities you choose rather than from a class.
How do you unlock the locked weapons?
10 of the documented weapons come from a specific source rather than general drops — usually a named boss, and in a few cases the Deluxe Edition or a platform promotion. The source for each is listed in the tables on this page.
